Returns and exchanges are allowed under the following conditions:

  • Your item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, swing tags in place and in the same condition as you received it
  • Returns must be initiated within 28 days of receiving your order
  • To inform Ateljee of your desire to return an item, please email us at orders@ateljeelifestyle.co.za and reference your order number as well as your name and surname.
  • Please include your bank details when corresponding about the return so that we have this as an option to do the refund.
  • Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping arrangements and cost when sending back your item(s).
  • Please send returns with a door-to-door courier. Ateljee will unfortunately not be able to collect from Postnet, PEP or other courier services that do not deliver door-to-door

If you require any assistance with a courier then Ateljee can arrange collection and delivery with Courier Guy. Cost of courier will be subtracted from the refund applicable.

Refunds and exchanges will only be approved once the Ateljee team has received the item/s and is satisfied that the items have been returned in accordance with our Return Policy.

Once the refund has been approved we will happily supply you with an Ateljee online voucher that can be used online or at any of our stores. Alternatively we will reverse the card transaction or make use of an EFT. Please include your bank details when corresponding about the return so that we have this as an option to do the refund.

Please take note of the following process when buying something from Ateljee through our online platform:

      • When completing your online order, please ensure that your delivery details are correct as well as contact details. Our courier partner may need to reach out to you with regards your delivery.
      • Please provide a daytime address where someone will be able to receive the parcel during working hours.
      • Once you have completed the transaction you will immediately receive an email confirming the order. 
      • If you chose Direct Deposit as the payment method, please be sure to take down the bank details at check-out.
      • Orders will be processed within 2-3 working days and will reach you within 7-10 days depending on your location.
      • As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a notification via email containing your tracking number.
      • If you selected an Instore Collection option, our shop staff will contact you via your mobile number that you provided when the order is ready to be collected. Please do not go to the store upon receiving the fulfilment or shipping email, this simply means your parcel is on it's way to the store.
      • Where possible, we will fulfil instore collections from that store which will speed things up but this may not always be possible. Always wait for our staff to contact you when the order is ready for collection.
