Returns and exchanges are allowed under the following conditions:
- No refunds allowed on sales items & Black Friday Items
- Your item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, swing tags in place and in the same condition as you received it
- Returns must be initiated within 28 days of receiving your order
- To inform Ateljee of your desire to return an item, please email us at orders@ateljeelifestyle.co.za and reference your order number as well as your name and surname.
- Please include your bank details when corresponding about the return so that we have this as an option to do the refund.
- Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping arrangements and cost when sending back your item(s).

Please send returns with a door-to-door courier to the address provided by our team. Ateljee will unfortunately not be able to collect from Postnet, PEP or other courier services that do not deliver door-to-door
** Gift Cards are unfortunately not refundable
If you require any assistance with a courier then Ateljee can make all arranges on your behalf. The cost of courier will however be subtracted from the refund amount applicable.
Refunds and exchanges will only be approved once the Ateljee team has received the item/s and is satisfied that the items have been returned in accordance with our Return Policy.
Once the refund has been approved we will happily supply you with an Ateljee online voucher that can be used online or at any of our stores. Alternatively we will reverse the card transaction or make use of an EFT. Please include your bank details when corresponding about the return so that we have this as an option to do the refund.
Please take note of the following process when buying something from Ateljee through our online platform:
- When completing your online order, please ensure that your delivery details are correct as well as contact details. Our courier partner may need to reach out to you with regards your delivery.
- Please provide a daytime address where someone will be able to receive the parcel during working hours.
- Once you have completed the transaction you will immediately receive an email confirming the order.
- Orders are normally processed within 2-3 working days and will reach you within 7-10 days depending on your location.
- As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a notification via email containing your tracking number.
- Occasionally we have to fulfil your order from multiple store locations which may mean a slightly longer processing time. We will reach out to you personally in these cases to let you know if this is the case.
- If you selected an In Store Collection option, you will receive an email to the email address provided when your order is ready to be collected. Please do not go to the store upon receiving the order confirmation email as your order may not be ready for collection yet.
- For the most part, if the 'in store collection' option was available then the item you ordered is available at the store you selected. We do however occasionally have flaws on garments that we only pick up upon getting an order ready or inventory levels may even have been incorrect. Please wait until you receive the 'ready for collection' email before attempting to collect your order.

While the below policy is our conservative commitment, our current average 'time to fulfillment' or processing time on new orders is 20h06min.
